We chose the name because it's what we want our jewellery to be. Something you put on in the morning and stop thinking about, because it simply stays with you, through long days, late nights and everything in between.

The gold
What's vermeil?
Gold vermeil is solid 925 sterling silver with a thick layer of 18k gold on top.
It looks exactly like solid gold, because the outside is real 18k gold. The difference is what's underneath and how much gold there is.
Most gold-tone jewellery is a thin coat of gold over brass or steel, and it can start to fade within months. Ours is a thick layer of 18k gold over solid sterling silver, so it keeps its colour for a long, long time.

Gold vermeil
A thick layer of 18k gold, at least 2.5 microns, over solid sterling silver.
Regular gold plating
A thin wash of gold, often under 0.5 microns, over brass or steel. It wears through quickly.
